Our last goodbyes

Well, we arrived home a short time ago from the vet. We had our 13 year old chocolate lab put down. We have prepared ourselves for this day for a while. She was ready to go...I think we were being selfish and holding on. That didn't make it any easier. It was so hard to drive away without her.

I know so much what you mean; my husband and I sat in the parking lot for almost 20 minutes after we set Magic free from her hurting body. We just could not drive away from her. I am so very sorry for your loss. It is one of the hardest things to do is help our beloved friend to the other side. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss..

It was very hard for us to leave the animal hopital the day that we had to make that tough choice for our Boy too, even though like you I knew that there was lots of pain and suffering for him and that this would let him be free and hurt no more.. Its so hard when that moment comes. But Know in your heart that you did what was best for your baby girl.. Now she is Free running and playing with all the others that have no more pain at the bridge..
