Thanks for the warm welcome!! There are so many loving members here at BW. It's wonderful!!! I wish they had something like this for shelties as I loved talking about my Callie Ann. Callie has been at Rainbow Bridge for 5 years now at the age of 12. We still have a sheltie mix, Sadie, that we took in 13 years ago when Callie was 4. Sadie had been abused by a man and it still affects her to this day. And, we have a black and white kitty named Bud. He's 4 now and has a personality that never quits!!
I never dreamed we'd have a boxer. I've always thought they were so pretty, especially their little pouty mouths. When my sister and her hubby couldn't take in Baxter, they asked us to take him. We were in the sheltie mode for over 17 years. Because of that, I wasn't sure we'd would be able to handle a boxer. We had to train ourselves in the boxers way. Baxter is doing well. He is a fawn baby. My sister had his ears cropped and tail docked and his dew claws removed. I felt so bad for him, hurting at both ends!!! We got through that stage. Then the teething stage came early. Ouch!!! He loves trying out his new teeth!!
