I am so sorry to hear about Grunt, he was so young. The first thing I thought about was how Rock was there to greet him. It's been a year and a half since Rock went to the bridge and I still miss him like it was yesterday, but it doesn't hurt as much. I can't believe the pain has gotten better-I never thought it would, but hang in there it does. Our babies are so special. Sending healing vibes from Sammy and Duke and of course myself.

I do not think we ever let them go. My girl is gone two years and i think of her daily, but with less pain and more sweet memories. I pray the same is true for you as you think of Grunt and the days go by. I have my girls' name tag on my key chain-a piece of her with me always. I know my Ailis, and all the boxer angels , were waiting for Grunt and gave him a warm boxer welcome. God speed sweet boy.

(wiping tears as I type this) I am so very sorry to hear of Grunt's passing to the Bridge. Know that he is healthy and happily awaiting until he and his Earthly family are together again.

I totally understand your grief. Thoughts of my Blizzy will still start the tears flowing..and its been a bit over two years now :( I cannot believe its been so long.

Grunt is runny free among the other beloved fur babies who went before him. If I know my girl, she was the first to perk up those flying nun ears of hers and tear off running to the gate knowing a new handsome boy was coming in. He's in great company.
