Just thought I'd let you fellow Oregonians know that there is a "Little Gabriel" park open all year I'm not sure of the exact directions but it is just off of Multnomah Blvd, connected to the bigger Gabriel. We take our boxer/rot mix Harley everyday and she loves it The park is small, but enough room for the dogs to get plenty of play time.

I've been to Gabriel twice

I've heard lots of people say they love Gabriel park (and that lots of boxers go there). I've been there twice and both times the fenced dog area was closed (off-season, I guess).

I did meet some other dogs and they ran in an open field. I just wasn't as comfortable with that (Bailey tends to develop "selective hearing" when she's playing).

North Clackamas park is really close to me, so we generally go there.

Just a reminder, this Sunday, May 12, at noon is our monthly play day, if anyone is interested.

Yup - still second Sunday

David,
The play day is still in the Dog Nose News for the second Sunday of each month.

I know a bunch of boxers show up. I haven't been able to make it the past couple of months. :(

Have you been to one yet?

I went once around 2pm and everyone had already left. I'm hoping to start
going on a regular basis. Especially with the weather being so great!!

Must have been one of the times I couldn't make it. I get chatting with other "boxer people," and I'm usually there for HOURS!
