Second E-mail

I just received another e-mail from the Dog Park and have been invited to join them at the January Committee meeting to discuss the Bash. Of course I accepted!! I really get the sense they are quite excited about us using their park. Will keep you all posted. In the meantime any questions, or comments you wish me to take to the meeting please either e-mail them to me or ask on here.

My husband and I would love to bring Dali and Basse out to play!
We hope to be able to attend, it is a 5 hour drive from Ottawa and our dauther will only be a year old but we will do our best to go. Please let us know all about it when you have more info.

Let us know what day it will be, We will try to be there! I wonder if the custom agents will let us go across the bridge with the dogs? I know us humans need 2 pieces of id, Drivers licence and birth certificate/passport

Your dogs will do fine at customs. I believe all you need for them is proof of their needles. As soon as I have a date I will let you know. We would love to meet you. Should something happen that this park falls through I will locate another spot. We shall keep you posted

We used to go to Bruce's Pit in Nepean (right by the Queensway Carleton Hospital), it might be too far west for you to travel to from Orleans. This is a great place to go to. I have heard lately that they are try to make is a dog-free area though :(

I am not familiar with the east end so I am not too sure what's out there - if I hear of anything I will let you know.

We have recently moved so we now go to a local park in Stittsville (west of Kanata), it's not really a dog park per say, it's hydro land that dog people congregate at!

I am very excited about he Boxer Bash! I am willing to travel because there just aren't many boxers in our area. We have only met one other.

Funny but in my area of Oakville I too have not come across any boxers for Kailee to play with. There are 2 a couple doors down from us, but it is a rarity to see them. The gentleman takes them to work with him, and he seems to work 24/7 It is going to be great to actually meet the people and especially the boxers that we read about on these forums. I think it is going to be a fun time.

Rob before you leave the US give me a call. That way should customs decide to hold you, you can give me a call, I will come and rescue the dogs and the wine You can catch up with us later upon your release
