I've done some searches on Jack Darling park and a membership form came up during one of them. Does the park require a membership?

I will try to make it - at least Lucy is old enough this year to run around! She didn't even get to stand on the ground last year!

I would definately be interested in the Ottawa area bash, but I too do not know the parks there that well! A map would be great. I am 45 min. away from there. Jack Darling Park is a beautiful park with a leash free dog park!! I loved it there. I used to live right across the road from it. Keep me posted and thanks for going all out to make the arrangements!

the Stittsville park is a great idea.. unfortunately it looks like maybe only Sharon would be able to make it! That is the day of my prom and I don't know if i want to get all dirty after my hair is already all done up... And if Denise has her baby... I hate to be a wet blanket... but maybe it could be put off till a later date?

How about July 26 at Stittsville park at 10:00 am.

It would be a shame for all you to miss it. Baby will be a month old by then.

If My Max could post the directions so that all the Ottawa boxer crazy people know where they are going. It's going to be a great time.

Hi Everyone!!! July would be a better date for me too and I could bring the baby!!!!!(do you think that would be ok?...first time mom). I'll be off to the park today...so I'll make sure to get the street names right and I"ll post the directions by this weekend. It's not too hard to get too. So would july 26 be ok for everyone else at this point?! Denise

I too would be in for July 26th!! I live right in Stittsville so the commute is no problem for me I walk to this park almost daily with Tegan and Owen (ok I admit it, I drive sometimes!!).

Denise, since you are having a baby I thought I would post the directions for you (I am sure you have more on your plate than I do!):

1. Take the 417 (Queensway) west.
2. Exit at Terry Fox Drive, go South (left) on Terry Fox Drive.
3. Turn Right on Hazeldean (set of lights) there will be a large Sobey's and McDonald's at this set of lights.
4. Turn Left onto Iber Road (set of lights).
5. Iber Road makes a sharp right turn at the end and turns into Abbott Street.
6. Turn left onto Shea Road (at the stop sign) and park in the high school parking lot (Sacred Heart High School).

The park is accross the street (east) of the school parking lot.

We could all meet at the school parking lot and then walk over... There aren't any signs for the park because it's city owned property...
