What is it with the portuguese water dogs???? i don't think i have ever seen one, much less met one. Now I am curious!

Our uncle has a portuguese water dog. They are great!!! Lots of energy, really really soft fur and they have beautiful faces. Lots of hair though and they are soo light footed (unlike our babies). When they jump up on you it doesn't hurt even a little bit

I think they'd at least make good boxer playmates

Seems as if we were all given about the same type of dogs and it's funny because I am not really a sporting type dog person. I like Great Danes and of course now I love my Lizzie, Boxers are so different than other breeds more peronable. Boxer was the 15th pick for me on their sight. But it was interesting.

well with the purina one my top 5 suggested were

1.Belgian Malinois
2. Belgian Tervuren
3.Rough collie
4.Standard Poodle
5. Boxer!!!!!!!!!!

The second one i got
1. Pointer wwith a match of 97%
2. Old English Sheep Dog
3.Gordon Setter
4. Black and tan coonhound
5.Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

Boxer was 16 for me in the second one.

Purina breed selector placed the boxer breed very far down my list at number 75!

The iVillage was better, listed the boxer breed as second, ( to a pointer?).
