OMG!! I think I finally found Deuce!

Over a year ago I tried to adopt a boxer locally from a shelter. When I called about him they had already moved him to a rescue and said they couldn't (or wouldn't ) tell me which one. They also said he had some medical issues that had to be taken care of before he would be adoptable. I had given up since it's been so long, but that same shelter just posted a courtesy listing that a senior boxer named Deuce is ready to be adopted after fostering. Fingers crossed! I can't wait for an appropriate time of day to call!!

I already received an email from the shelter. The lady working there isn't sure it's him, but I'm a sucker for those boxer senior eyes anyway! Her email mentioned fostering and adoption, so I'm hoping to at least be able to foster him. I'd like to adopt him, but I'll be off active duty in one year and going to school full time, so my income will be cut at least in half. Wish me luck!

It's not the same Deuce and we're checking to see if he's already found a home, but I am on their list to foster!

It's probably him. . His current owner has placed him on at least 4 courtesy listings. She's really trying to avoid him going to a shelter. I haven't heard back from her yet though.
