It was Holly's first experience with rain also...! She hated it. The first time she felt those drops on her back, she raced right back inside. I had to take her out three, four, five times; each time she turned right around and ran back into the house. Finally, with me standing there, saying "Outside potty, Holly, go potty!" over and over again, soaking wet, she crouched under a bush and squirted for a few seconds, then raced back into the house away from the nasty, horrible, wet stuff that was falling on her back. And yes, I found a puddle under the table later also...

We get a lot of rain, well it is Scotland. If the rain is really heavy Gus will only go out if you go with him. Typical boxer if he's getting wet then so are you.

I Hate The Rain Mom!

LOL.....Yes, remember, be careful what you pray for! Last year at this time we were fighting the wildfires (I live in the mountains of So. Cal) and this last week? RAIN<RAIN<RAIN Well, Roxy was just itty bitty the last time we had any moisture so when she got up in the morning to go outside THE BRAKES WENT ON! She is 10mos old now and 55lbs so you can just imagine how funny that looked! Trooper is 5yrs so even though he isn't "thrilled" about the rain he knows the drill......but Rox? She wanted to 'hold it' all day if possible! Whenever I said "lets go potty" she would run to the window and see if the HORRIBLE WET STUFF was still coming down
My husband said......"Looks like it is going to be a LONG winter" I sure hope she enjoys the snow! :)

These are great!!!

We too have had rain here for the first time since about May, we also had a huge electrical & thunderstorm we got 2inches in 4 hours it was lovely! Major & Molly were cowering inside when the thunder & lightening was about but when it blew away & we were left with the rain Major couldnt wait to get outside in it! oh then after burning around the yard a few times found the new garden bed which is yet to be planted in..lets just say that my lawn has now been dressed with soil again!!!

cleaning the mud off the walls in the laundry where he came in & shook took hours!

Rocky loves a light rain he will literally dance in the drops and enjoy himself! But if it is raining hard we have to force and coax him out to pee. Mia the boston hates wetness, morning dew, rain mist anything! She will flop onto her back as we force her out onto the deck and turn into 26 lbs of dead weight! She is so pathetic!
