My sister lives just 3 blocks away and we frequently babysit each others boxers. They happen to be from the same litter (I don't know if they remember that they are brother and sister).

Anyway, we had them both last night and it was better than watching a comedy! They burned and chased and fought over the same toy and jumped and, and, and...Then they'd get tired and need a drink (and a pee!!) then they'd be back at it again for ?1.5 hours!! Then they'd get so tired that they would just collapse into the nearest set of arms they could find and be snoring in 30 seconds flat.

We howled while watching them! My parents and brother think we are a little strange for loving our babies so much, but they don't have the boxer antics/ love to base any opinion on! My sister and I don't care - we're lovin' every minute of it! Ha!

That's so funny - I could just imagine them charging around your house. We don't have 2 Boxers - 1 boxer and 1 rottweiler. Although they play it's not the same as 2 boxers. The rottie is too laid back and sensible.

I guess you don't watch your tv much when you have 2 boxers around to entertain you

That's so great!

How nice to have a boxer you can borrow to play with your own! We only have one, but he makes us laugh and laugh with his antics. Sometimes I think I'd like to get a second one, but then I think of what a handful one playful boxer can be when he gets wound up! We have a couple of acres in the country and he isn't fenced, so he just tears around! We also have deer come out in the backyard, which he just sits and watches- he's such a good boy, always comes when he's told, and never, ever goes beyond his boundaries. There's a border collie next door that also isn't fenced and he doesn't come over either. They just sit and watch each other. We are really lucky to have neighbours that also keep their dog home! My family doesn't understand the boxer love fest we have with our boy either, but then, they don't have a boxer! What could be a more entertaining evening than watching two boxers play?

I know what you mean! We just got our 2nd boxer in Decmember, and we are really enjoying the baby. We are enjoying watching the boxers play together. We can just imagine how funny they will be together when the baby gets a little older. They are so cute when they cuddle together too. I'm going to post some more pictures of them. Watch for them.

You know, so far, a 2nd boxer isn't any worse than one boxer. It's just a little extra work since Lexi's a baby and we need to watch her all the time and walk her a lot to prevent accidents. But besides that, it's really not too bad. Really, they keep each other busy most of the time.

I know what you mean! With Holly and Scrapper, they play tag and run and are so fun to watch. But, now that is temporarily in abeyance because Holly has to be "kept quiet" while her leg finishes healing. We're trying! I took her out to potty, after she was through, all of a sudden she got that "look" in her eye, she leaped up about three feet high in the air, came down and started running. Right on that healing leg! I was horrified. I hustled her right back into the crate. It's like she's NOX powered.

Guinness has a play date most sundays with Wilson(who we met here!) and they can go about 3 hours before starting to tire...They mostly wrestle do a little burn in the backyard then wrestle some more...stop for about 15 sec then start all over. they are too funny to watch! The best is that they are the same age so they are both still a little clumsy...they run into things and don't even notice...goofy puppies foolicon!!!

Super Boxer
I know what you mean!

When Rocky came home I had a Rat Terrier named Princess. They would play but she was very particular about when she would play and usually last about 20 minutes before getting bored with his antics  A year later we bring Niki home, our second boxer, and oh boy... stand back! We can just sit back and watch them for hours, its hilarious. They burn throught he house, sound like horses coming down the stairs, chase each other round, cuddle together... everything they do is together :) Nothing like having 2 boxers ;)

Aw, you guys are making me want two of 'em even more than I already do!!! I love to watch Asia play with her Boxer friends, they really DO play differently with each other than they do with other breeds. Mark's parents have a Golden Retriever named Max that is one of Asia's best friends (hehe) and they play SO differently than Asia and Josie (a Boxer that lives at our apt. complex) do! :)

I wish I had two around the house to keep me entertained, we just don't have the money or room for one right now - I think I'm just going to have to live off of you guys' stories on two Boxers in the house for now ;)!!

Beau hasn't been around another boxer since he left his home with the breeder 3 months ago, but he loves playing with Bailey. It is quite hysterical to see a tiny brown blur being closely followed by a very big white blur around the house. This is their nightly ritual. Then after about 30 minutes when they get tired, they lie in the floor and play bite each other until they are completely pooped. Then they crawl onto separate ends of the couch and sleep until I delcare it bedtime and they sleepily move to the bedroom. They usually wake me up in the morning doing this. I think they would do it all day if I didn't have to go to school and work, but I think I'd go crazy listening to the play with me barks and whines they give each other. It's hard to do anything while they are playing because it gets so loud. I think if I added another boxer to the mix, someone or something would surely get hurt. Not a day goes by when Beau doesn't get going too fast and plow into me or a wall! I'm glad my boys have each other to grow up with. I don't have that much energy!!!
