Not A Full Bred Boxer

I recently adopted what I thought was a full bred Boxer..He's not docked, and is floppy. He's fawn and white. Now that I have more knowledge about Boxers, I think his nose is too long, and he points, which I've learned Boxers don't do. His picture is posted in the "Show Off Your Dog" Forum. Anyway..he's adorable and I love him, but am I now on the wrong forum? Is this for full Boxers only? May seem stupid to ask, but I don't want to be here if I shouldn't be...thanks!

Nope, there are many here with mixes. Or folks that used to have Boxers who have passed but still post, or those of us with a Boxer and a something else (like me, I also have a German Shepherd). You are more than welcome even with a Boxer mix...so welcome!

And on the nose length he could just be poorly bred. My first boxer was full blooded but he was obviously from a backyard breeder (we got him from a rescue) and so he had a longer snout. Now, on the pointing yours may be mixed with something else, but just saying that the nose doesn't necessarily mean that he's mixed, could just be indicative of poor breeding practices.

I wouldn't rule him out because he points - so does mine, and he's undoubtedly purebred. Lol there's a picture of him doing so on the forum header . The other dog up there, Bismarck, I'm informed also pointed. So there's two already. In short, some boxers point.

Both of mine point. It's funny to me because as a child my uncle had a german short hair pointer. My male has AKC papers and the female I got from a pound.
