Norse Name for female Brindle puppy

We adopted a four month old brindle girl! Our other Boxer is called Odin, and we want to keep with the Norse theme.

Can anyone help me? Her previous owners were calling her Brin, but she doesn't seem too attached to that name yet. I was thinking Brynhildr, but I don't know how to pronouce it! That name appeals to me because we could shorten it to Bryn and keep the name she already has.

We also have to come up with her AKC name, I don't understand how those work.

I think you may have missed a letter in the name you were thinking of. Brynhildur (pronounced brin HIL dur) is the only spelling I found. There is also Brynja (pronounced BRIN yah)

Interesting. I found the spelling Brynhildr on a couple of Valkyrie sites. It seems there are many ways to spell this name! I'm sure the phonetics are still the same. Thank you! I now know how to pronounce it!
