Would anybody be up for meeting up next weekend (Oct 16-17) or the perhaps the weekend after? Possibly at a dog park that is central and convienent for everyone. Tony, that idea about the charity walk in Fairfax is a great idea too!

We would definetely make it the weekend of the 23rd. We live in Quantico 20 miles south of DC but sometimes drive and hour each way just to have fun with our Rocky. The 16th -17 th is not good for us since Rocky gets neutered the 14th. Let us know.

We could do Oct 16 or morning of 17th, but last two weekends in Oct not good for us, road trip to Key West - with mutt of course.

If we miss the bash I'm sure there will be more.

Oct 23-24th - Any suggestions on a meeting place?

Next weekend (Oct 23-24) would be great with Riley and I too! Anyone have any suggestions for a park where we can meet? Maybe some place with water (if possible) ...Riley is one of the water lovin' boxers and I wanted her to splash around again before it gets too cold!

There is a fenced in dog park in Alexandria and we could walk to a dog barkery close by. The owner is really nice and gives free doggie treats and has water too. The park has water also.....they usually have a swimming pool with water. He has great prices on collars and leashes. It is exit 170A we live about 30 minutes away from it. We are 20 minutes south of DC. Let me know if you guys want to get together and I will give more directions. How about next Sunday around noon? Or Saturday around noon? What time of the day is best?

Sunday is better for us too.There is probably a couple of dog parks in Alexandria it is such a dog friendly town. I am talking about the one across the street from a Ymca on Monroe street I believe. Noon is a perfect time for us. I will pm whoever wants to go with directions or you guys pm me. You know what I will post directions tomorrow so I can call the owner of the barkery and make sure I got the right directions for everyone. So Sunday the 24th I cant wait.

Okay guys if you go to hydrantdog.com look under contacts and it gives you driving directions to the barkery.....once you find the barkery you go about 2 blocks until monroe street take a left(depending on which direction you come from) and the dog park will be right across from a ymca. I dont want to give out bad directions so if you get lost call the barkery their phone number is on the web site and he is always glad to give out directions. We hope to see some boxers next Sunday at noon.
