I always supervise my boxers while they are playing in the yard. It is because of people like this. Both my babies are micro-chipped, but that will not save them from crazy people. My next door neighbor hates kids and dogs. He is an old guy who wanted our subdivision to be occupied by senior citizens only. That did not happen.
This neighbor spends every waking moment working on his lawn. I, on the other hand could care less about the lawn. I would much rather spend my time watching my fur babies play. I have a typical dog lawn! It really irritates this neighbor.
I don't trust this guy, and my boxers do not like him. I would not put it past him to throw something bad to my babies. I will NEVER take the chance of that happening. I will put dishes, laundry, dusting, etc. aside to supervise my babies while they are outside. The best thing about that is, it makes me stop to smell the roses!

I guess my reaction would be that I'd say I've got the registration and licenses in the house, so I KNOW they're my dogs. I'm sorry that your Boxer is missing, but these are mine. I'm friends with both of their breeders if my paper work isn't enough proof for you. Now what proof do you have that either one is yours? By the way I've got your license number in case they some how turn up missing.

Just an update on our little confrontation. We haven't seen hide nor hair of the guy, but it doesn't ease my fear. We haven't let our guard down one bit and don't plan on it anytime soon. I hope if he truely lost his beloved boxer and he finds him (if he hasn't already) but in the meantime he better stay away from ours

I'm sure that if this guy comes back when your husband is not home, Creed would sense this guys agenda and, shall we say, pursuade the man to leave on his own will and never return!

OK, now I know this is way off topic but I love how you call your one furbaby "Heinze 57" :p I use that phrase often in describing mixed up babies and no one ever gets it or even has a clue what I mean. So I am glad to see another using that phrase :D
