Greetings from KY! I lost my first baby, Tyson (a flashy brindle), this past November after 12 years. My husband bought him for me when we were dating as a surprise. I wanted a big dog like a Mastiiff or Dane....he thought a boxer was more manageable. He was literally like our first child and welcomed our 4 human babies open heartedly. I have been so devastated by his death and have come to these forums frequently to read your stories and laugh or cry.

I thought after he died I would get my "huge" dog...but I've realized that the boxer's have chosen me . We will be adding our new baby in a week (a male sealed reverse brindle) and I thought I would join you!

I look forward to interacting with you and not just secretly reading your posts

Welcome from another Kentuckian! I too am new to Boxer World. We lost our first boxer two years ago to cancer. He was 13 and too was like one or our kids! My husband presented us with a brindle puppy for Christmas. He is 12 weeks old now and absolutly a joy to have!

Welcocme to BW we also lost our first Boxer he was 8yrs and I too come to read and laugh or cry at first all I did was cry and now I laugh a little more than cry I am slowly coming around and you will too
