I thought I'd take a few to introduce myself. I'm not actually new to BoxerWorld, but rather new to the forums! I've been posting here and there for the past few weeks.

My name is Melissa and I live in the Chicago suburbs with my boyfriend Scott and our two babies, Skout and Raven.
Skout is a 3.5 year old male, plain faced fawn with cropped ears and docked tail.
Raven is a 1.5 year old female, flashy fawn with cropped ears and a docked tail.

We got Skout as a puppy from a breeder and rescued Raven almost a year ago. They are truly BEST friends! I love them to death, and they have made us so happy!

Just wanted to say hi... take care, and I look forward to talking to all of you! ;)

I am also new to this board.

I had a look at your doggies and they are truly gorgeous.

We have two also Troy is 7 months and Casey is 5 months.

I am just wondering do they quieten down as they get older cos ours are fairly mad.

Well, Raven is still VERY hyper. Skout is a bit more relaxed, but he is almost 4 now. They wake me up every moring when the alarm goes off! They are next to the bed, shaking their behinds and trying to paw at me. What a sight to wake up to!
I'd have to say that Skout was never really like Raven is. She is so hyper she could bounce of the walls, I have to grab her sometimes so she'll clam down! She is just very, very playful. And at times, it's too much for me(say 5am, 2 hours before I have to wake up!).
I have heard that Boxers stay puppy like(in playfulness) all their lives, but they really begin to clam down a bit at about 3 years old. Skout is certainly even more relaxed then when he was a pup.

I would have to say, boxers stay playfull most of thier lives. Tobee is only 1 1/2, so of course he is really playfull, but I just meet an eight years old boxer girl, who was every bit as playful as Tobee. Boxers always stay young heart. I wish we could all be that way;)

I wish we could all be that way too! Nothing cheers me up more then coming home to my heavy breathing, butt shaking, ears back, boxers!! They instantly make me happy! :)
