Boxer Pal
Good day, all. I've been to this site looking for help with one of our boxers who has colitis. So I decided I should join.
We've got two boxers and one Chiuhuaha (spelling?): Presely is 3 years, terrible lil chiuhuaha. Loves us dearly and is a great protector, but barks at anythnig that breathes. nevertheless, he's loved and spoiled rotten.
Daisy, 8 years, who we rescued from the shelter. She's white with a blue eye and a brown. She's soo sweet and we love her. Unfortunately, she's a jumper and suffers from colitis. She hates cats and if she gets the chance jumps on the block wall and runs along it at full speed to chase them. SO SCARY! She's dog agressive, only outside of the house. Unusually she does not mind when we bring dogs over, strays or friend's dogs. it's only out of the house. We are at least her third owners. She's been in the shelter twice. I imagine because her jumping and diet. We couldn't dream of getting rid of her.
Our dogs, no matter how hard they are to take care of, are family.

Our newest boxer is a male, Luke, one year old now, he's fawn. He's a goofball. He's my hiking buddy. (although they all go hiking with us, he's the youngest and has not problems on the long treks with steep hills) He's non-agressive with all dogs and people and does well off leash. Although, he has discovered he can scale a six foot wall with ease.
We feed them mostly raw, but have added rice and veggies.....but Daisy suffers still time to time...I just read in one of the forums to try raw meat (bones too) only, no rice...hopefully this works....
