Boxer Pal
Hi everyone, my name is Karilyn and I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I joined this site on behalf of myself, my fiance Mike, and our 6 month old reverse brindle Rocky.
Mike has loved boxers as long as I can remember (probably because he is a boxer himself), and it was always our plan to wait until we were married and settled into our lives before we began looking for a good breeder. We have a family friend, however, that fosters boxers (mainly adults who have been injured or given up). This past Christmas, she was notified of a 12 week old boxer puppy that needed a home after being rescued from a puppy mill. She surprised us by showing up with him, and my fiance fell in love with him.
He named him Rocky, for obvious reasons, and he has been an amazing addition to our lives. However, since finding him was so unplanned, we have had a lot of questions. Our friend helps significantly, but I figured it would be very helpful for us to get opinions from a bunch of boxer owners.
