Macy update - feel like an idiot...chose a bad vet!!

The vet I've known for years and been taking Macy to (and my pomeranian) is out on vacation for two weeks, so the new vet he hired has been taking care of Macy. The joint aspiration did not go well yesterday - he failed to get a "clean" sample, so they poked my baby for nothing. Long story short, she's on three weeks of heavy antibiotics and it looks like the bacteria is confined to a central location. This will only affect her leg by two inches - not an issue big enough to merit intensive reconstruction surgery.

So the vet got me worked up over nothing because he wasn't sure what he was doing! We are definitely waiting for our primary vet to return before Macy goes in for another checkup. Thanks to all of you - the breeder is definitely getting a phone call.

What does the breeder have to say?

Hi! I am not sure the truth in this statement, and would probably need further investigation, but as far as I am aware, most breeders, (If reputable) offer a (for lack of better word) warranty on their litters. In other words, if this does get out of hand and it is something that happened because of genetics or something, they should be willing to work with you on finding a solution, and or refund some if not all of your money for the pup. Good luck. I hope all goes well.
