Hey there.
I just bought a 8 week old boxer and named him Maxamillion. (Max).
I had basset hounds prior to Max and loved them. My best friend Bonnie Anne Clyde died last month 15 yrs old to cancer. As a pup she stole everything she could get her paws on, thus the name.
The reason I named this boxer Max is my dad wanted a grandson named Max and of all his 11 children none of us ever did. So I did this guy, there you go dad.

Max was a gift to myself and family. I researched a lot of breeds and choose boxer. This will be our 1st indoor dog. I have 2 grandkids ages 4 and 3, my grandson (3) Ezra said "this is my puppy"..
..I am glad he has taken to Max, hopefully they will be friends for life.

Max has been excellent the last 9 days he has been home. He is crated and sleeps from 11pm to 6 am by 7am he is hungry. I have started him on dry food and in time will introduce him to raw, as my mother-in-law is a health nut and says that is what is best for him. I tend to agree.

On the 6th day home Max now runs to the door and tells me he has to go out. That impresses me alot about this breed. I say "go to the bathroom" and within 5 min outside he is done and running back to the porch to be let in.
Another thing that impressed me was, I close him in the hall way (4 by 12) so he has a nice area to play when I am not home. I leave paper for him in the corner. Well yesterday (Sunday) I had to leave form 11 to 2pm..only to come home and find the bugger got out..well I searched high and low for a mistake and NOTHING..I took him outside and there he went. That is one smart puppy.. I said.

Max loves sleeping on my lap, while I watch TV, what am I gona do when he weighs 50lbs or more?
