Hi all, I'm Amy SAHM mom to three. We lost our beloved dog Bear in Feb. We long for a dog in our life again and have chosen the beautiful boxer. Since about May we have been reading books and things online to learn as much as we can about the boxer breed. Our plan is to get a dog next April or so so we can train it through the spring and summer. We like to camp and figured it would be better for the new puppy to get used to camping early. Well that's pretty much it. I hope I can learn more from all of you boxer lovers.

Welcome aboard. Glad you could join us. With children, I don't think you could pick a better breed. Well, for that matter, even if you didn't have children, there is no better breed than the boxer. I have had so many different breeds, I've lost count, but I know now that I will never be without a boxer in my life. Good luck on your hunt for that right pup.

Atlas,Sydney and I welcome you to BW! I was raised with boxers all of my life. My parents got my first boxer when I was 5 yrs old. Boxers are great around children. Good luck!!
