Again, thanks for all the wonderful thoughts and prayers. You all are a wonderful source of strength!
My guy is a tough one!! We are still doing as well as can be expected. Living in the basement has been much eaiser on all of us. Although, Bax has begun wanting upstairs each day for a few hours. Mr. B goes to the door and signals that he wants to go upstairs. He manages going up the stairs pretty well with assistance and then my husband carries him back down. This has been a great arrangement. I also sleep better because I put the bed against the wall and Baxter can get up and manuever himself around at night without the fear of him falling off the bed like we had in our bedroom. It just means that he hogs more of the bed now! Baxter's heart is still a worry for me, it pounds so hard a lot of the time. I have a call into Dr. Kruesi to see if there is a supplement that perhaps might help, doesn't hurt to try it!
Baxter's balance continues to decline, as expected. His spirit remains though. We find it so very hard to give up on him when he hasn't given up on himself. It has been so tough to watch him decline and often times it breaks my heart just watching him trying to maneuver around but his determination is amazing. His determination is what keeps me going most days.
We know that it won't be long before Baxter completely looses his ability to get around so I am enjoying each and every extra blessed day I get with him. Keep those prayers coming, they have certainly helped keep my guy around an extra long time

You know we could not have done this without all of you!
