Aimee,

You can count on us to continue praying and sending the strongest vibes we can muster to all of you. I still have Baxter's picture on my fridge and say a little prayer every night. I hope in some small way it is helping.

Those vibes are strong, please keep them coming :)

Baxter is still fighting a good fight! He appears to be better than he was over the weekend. His appetite is strong, he's alert and happy, but his balance is still shaky and wobbly. Mr. B has been manuevering the stairs with assistance, going down is a lot more difficult for him now. I've noticed that his front feet are starting to slightly knuckle on him. Last night we celebrated Dusty's birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed the party, especially the cake. He ate all of his dinner, was head first into the cake, begged for food from all of the 2 legged attendees (he especially loves my nieces and nephews whose hands happen to be just his height ;) ), posed nicely for a few photos and was sound asleep before we could even begin the dishes

We started Baxter on Tahitian Noni juice yesterday. My petsitter recommened it. She has a client with a 30 year old horse who was having breathing difficulties (wheezing and coughing) and they couldn't keep weight on him. He now gets this Noni juice and is doing well. My petsitter thought perhaps it could help Baxter. We opted to try it, nothing ventured nothing gained. Is anyone familiar with Tahitian Noni juice, have you ever used it and what kind of results did you see?

I've never heard of the juice, but I'm all for anything that's natural and can help. I'm not suprised to hear Bax was first in line for cake! The vibes and prayers are still comin'-keep up the good fight Baxter!

I have been checking out the Tahitian Noni Juice and heck, I may try it myself...sounds good, claims to boosts immune system, energy levels, be good for circulatory and disgestive problems..even aids with inflamation and arthritis and is even good for your skin and hair. Can't hurt...just says to be sure to take it on an empty stomach for best results. I am glad you guys enjoyed Dusty's party and that Mr. B got his share of CAKE!! Hang in there you guys...djk

Thank you for thinking of us. Baxter's blood pressure was normal, it was 110. This means that his symptoms are tumor related. However, our vet tech today said that his heart symptoms sound like cardiomyopathy but without a full work up it's their best guess. Baxter threw up his breakfast this morning but appears to feel better tonight. He appears to be getting weaker. I wish I had better news to report. I took leave this week and am home with him. I wanted to be able to spend this time with him, work with him and exhaust all our options before making a final decision. These past ten days or so have been grueling. I'm not ready to give up yet, please keep us in your prayers.
