The very best gift of all.....

Hey Gang!!

The Baxter Birthday Bash was a huge success and there were tons of pictures taken...but I'll let Baxter's Mama have the honor of telling you all about it...but I just had to sneak in here and tell you what the very best gift of all was!!! I got the very best gift of all and I got it the minute I walked in Saturday afternoon....it was seeing Mr. Baxter!!!! You guys, he looks wonderful...just wonderful....I was soooo thrilled when I saw him! When I saw him in September, I just cried when I left because I knew it was the last time I would see him...BUT I was WRONG! In September he was so thin and looked so frail...he looked like you expected a dog with cancer to look like...but yesterday was such a huge surprise because he has put on weight and looked 100 times better than two months ago. I am not sure what is doing it but something Aimee and Jason are doing is certainly helping him....maybe it's the love more than anything because that boy IS loved. He tires easily but heck so do I!! I was just thrilled to see him and how handsome he looks and how much he enjoyed his cake and party.....Atta Boy Baxter....you show 'em all, buddy! Thanks for letting us enjoy you...you are still our hero and always will be! Love, Aunt Deb

Baxter's party was definantly a huge success! We had so much fun. There was 14 of us humans, the 7 furchildren (which includes the kitties who really didn't participate) and many of you who were there in spirit with us as well. Baxter wasn't the party animal he was at Goliath's party last year but he definantly enjoyed all the attention, not to mention the wonderful gifts that he received. This boy is definantly well loved and spoiled rotten--the pictures tell the true story!

All the kids enjoyed their homemade cake. Lexi felt like a queen in her lays, Dusty and Jaims didn't want any part of it, but Jack and Baxter were both very accepting of all the party gear! We were unable to get any great group photos unfortunantly but we did get some great individual shots. I promise to go through my photos tomorrow and email them to each of you who requested them. If anyone else is interested in seeing them, please contact me privately with your email so that I can share them with you too.

Thank you all so much for sharing this milestone with us. I will be sure to keep you updated on Baxter's progress. His next consult is in two weeks. Let's all pray for good news!

Aimee, I am just thrilled that Baxter had such a wonderful party. Sounds like the gang was all there and I can't wait to see the pictures. We sure were thinking about him on Saturday and we still continue to send our strongest Colorado vibes that bounce off the picture on our fridge. Tyson, Five and I send you all our biggest hugs.

I'm so glad to hear that Baxter is still holding his own. I haven't been on the board's much lately, but I always look for your updates first thing.
