Birthday Creativity

Okay ladies, we are almost ready for the party!

Dora and Lenore - thank you for the idea of homemade hats, that is exactly what I did :D Baxter's hat is Eeyore with a bunch of balloons tied to him and the kids hats are Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore at Eeyore's birthday party with hats, a cake and goodies. I am baking Baxter a Baxter friendly cake (sugar free cake and icing) and have laminated an Eeyore Birthday party picture of the whole gang with Eeyore blowing out his birthday candles to place on the cake! Bax's birthday card is Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore with Eeyore blowing out birthday candles. It has turned out so cute.

Jan, Pam, Bev, Chris and Christine - Thank you for the thoughts, hugs and vibes. We sincerely appreciate each one.

As for pictures, I would love to share them with everyone who would like to see them. Please feel free to email me and I will foward them to you!

Jack says...Party ON!!!

Hmmmm.....I can't take any extra time off this weekend due to some rather unpleasant and dreaded job obligations.....but it IS Mr. B's 11th birthday and of course, if you remember correctly....Mr. B and Mr. Jack K. have the same birthday!!! Jack is more of a Tigger Type...bouncy bouncy bouncy...but maybe we can hold him down long enough for some pictures. When is the party?? If you make it Saturday evening, we can come up Saturday and come back home Sunday.....whaaddyasay???? You know I'll never forgive myself if I miss this very special day for such a special guy...he is our hero remember and always will be. Nothing quite like inviting ourselves is there!!! I am so glad that you will be able to come up. I know we thought for certain when you were here in September that that would be the last time you saw Baxter. I'm real happy that you will be here to celebrate this milestone with us. Now pack them bags and get up here!!!

Baxter is enjoying the cool weather. He seems to do much better on his evening walks now that the weather is cooler. I started weaning down his pred again yesterday. We thought we'd wean him down to 20mg a day (from 25mg), it seems to be a good holding point for the time being.
