Need Help/Information on Brain Tumors and Strokes

Update!

I am happy to report that Baxter cotinues to hang tough! He is on 25mg of prednisone per day and doing very well. We are getting another biomedical profile done on November 22 and will then consult with Dr. Kruesi on November 29. I will be very interested to see the difference his supplements have made over the past few months with his lab work (I still can't believe I'm using the word months :D !!!)

Right now I am planning Baxter's birthday bash. Yep, that's right--my man has a birthday right around the corner!! Baxter's adoption anniversary/birthday is November 17. It will be 4 years ago that we adopted Baxter and he will be what we consider 11 years old. His big family Birthday bash is this weekend. I am getting balloons, a cake, party hats, the whole nine yards. This is where I need some help. I want to do an Eeyore birthday party for him. We've always said if Bax could talk, we know he would sound just like Eeyore (not to mention he resembles him too). However, I am not having any luck finding any Eeyore party gear and I have been everywhere. Anyone know of an online place where I can order Eeyore hats, plates, cups, etc. in a hurry????

Cindy, thank you! I wish I could express into words just how happy I am to be able to celebrate Baxter's birthday. As soon as Baxter was diagnosed, I began praying for Baxter to make it to this milestone. Planning his party is such fun, I'm enjoying every minute of it!

That is GREAT news!!!!

I was going to post earlier today because I was wondering how he was doing.

Very odd, today I had on (under 3 sweatshirts and a fleecey) my Eeyore tshirt that I got in Disneyland. The front has 3 pictures- the frown, the tail and the cloud(black cloud picture) and on the back it says the Eeyore.
He has always been my favorite.
Have No idea where to get party gear though. I know my balloon supplier does stock him- so they do exist. Do you have Disney Stores near you?

Sending the biggest birthday wishes for that special boy of ours.

I forgot to add that Eeyour is my favorite. Please post pictures. I taught kindergarten for 24 years, and Eeyour was my all time favorite.I even have my picture taken with him at Disney.

Thank you, Jill! I do have a Disney store and if you can believe it, they didn't have any party gear (hats, cups, plates, etc!). There is a lot of the Pooh, Piglet and Tigger birthday gear but sadly no Eeyore. I've purposely waited until the last minute to decide to do this which is part of the problem. I was too afraid to plan anything in advance for fear of the unknown. Ho hum, I suppose I will find something

Pink & blue-purpleish party gear...maybe an Eeyore cap instead of party hats or some regular hats with homemade eeyore ears on them? How about everyone with Pooh gear and make Baxter the only eeyore (very unique just like he is!).
I am so glad to hear Bax is doing well. What a great mom you are Aimee...I know you are earning some pretty good size angel wings! Kisses to Bax & hugs to you!

It's so nice to read such a happy post this morning. Worrying about party gear is the right kind of worry to have.

So glad to hear Baxter is hanging tough. Your birthday milestone brought back memories to me. When Lewis, cat, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in late June, 1997, and given 6 months to live, my goal for him was to celebrate Christmas with him. Fortunately we celebrated in December of that year and another five holiday seasons.

I have no idea on the party gear, but I sure want Baxter to have the best birthday ever.

As far as the party hats go, maybe you could buy plain hats, and get color copies made of Eeyore and glue them onto the generic hats??? It's hard to believe the Disney store doesn't sell party stuff with Eeyore on it because lots of people love him.
