I need some healing vibes, I took Tyson to the vet to have his lump looked at and they think it is some kind of growth and they want to remove it. I told them to do it as soon as possible, I am taking him in on friday. They asked me if I wanted the lump sent away for testing, I said ofcourse I do. So they are going to cut the lump off his ear and they will have to make a hole in his ear but they said they could sew it up but his ear might look a little funny. My reaction was better funny looking ear than no ear or possibly no dog :( I am so worried. After losing my 2 last year in the fire I can't stand the thought of losing my very own first boxer after only a year with him! Everyone tells me to stop being so negative but its hard not to worry. Luckily the vet didnt charge me for the visit today and the surgery is quite reasonable it is under $500 (cdn) and I guess it works out alright since (although I was laid off this month from work) Chris's dad gave us $500 as a house warming gift. I feel so bad to ask Chris but he said that the dog is more important than a new rug or a picture (I'm glad he saw things my way) I just need some encouragement and positive vibes for me and Tyson.

good luck! i hope everything goes alright. we recently had to bring out shepherd in because she had a lump on her tummy and the medication didnt help. WHen they were removing the lump for biopsy they found a second one and removed it and sent them away. the results came back negative and the vet said it was probably from hormones which is why we got her fixed at the same time.
