Mid to late September

Any Saturday in September is good for me. The cooler the weather, the better. So I'm thinking 2nd or 3rd week? Again, I'm open for anything. My guess is every Boxer that shows up has posted on Boxerworld. I think we are all a little reserved at the park, and since the dogs can't do the introductions, we'll have to do it ourselves!

Saturdays in September are good for me too.

And ya know what? At the last boxer bash I went to (one of the earlier ones!!) there were 3-4 non-boxerworld people there with boxers and it actually was a good way to spread the word. :D They all at least said they were going to check out boxerworld.com. So ya never know. For the most part people who take their dogs to dog parks are friendly themselves and hey, you already have a great first topic to discuss. "Which of these silly dogs is yours?" :p

--Hey, and if you read this sometime before Mon, Sept 2, then wish us a bit of luck. We are showing our American Bulldog "Sally" for the first time this weekend (sat, sun & mon) and are very nervous and excited!!!

Daisy's correct! There have been several boxers there that were not part of Boxerworld. It's nice to see though! It's kind of hard to figure out what dog belongs to who b/c they're usually just running around like maniacs and as for Maxine - she has selective hearing with all the excitement so she doesn't spend too much time with me.

OK - so maybe the t-shirts, hats, whatever was a silly idea...I'd read some of the other city's bash posts & have seen them do that and thought it wasn't a bad idea! I'm not really a shy person but I would feel a little silly asking somebody, "hey, are you here for the boxer bash?" and they have NO CLUE what I'm talking about. Oh well! Any Saturday in Sept. works for me too! The 14th or the 21st would be good so if anybody wants to pick a day, just let me know!!!

I'm in! You'll know D., he'll be the one drinking everyone's water and licking faces! I'm going to try to convince my neighbor to come with hers, too. She'd have a blast, no doubt.

The 14th and the 21st of Sept are both good days for me. Do you guys want to meet earlier in the day, like around 10am? or later on around 3pm or so? Whatever works for me, just wondering what you all wanted to do. Lucy will just LOVE hanging around with her kind for once!!

Why don't we make it the 21st?

I was thinking this way, we have an extra week on the boards for people to see it...The more the merrier! It's already September!!! I know some people don't get to check the boards all that often so an extra week might help us have a better turnout.

Does this sound like a good idea?
