I love the name Windfield. It sounds so impressive! My best friend in middle school's middle name was Winfield and I always thought it was such a great name. I think Win would be a cute nickname, too.

Wow! You are pretty busy! Bailey will be 3 next month and he was my first dog "on my own." He had a tooth pulled yesterday and I worried about him all day (even though I knew he was fine). He is a total mommy's boy (as is Beau). I hope you have a very healthy pregnancy and have fun with your new puppy!

Isn't this silly

we are bringing home our baby in a week and when I was looking for a name I went into "baby name" websites and tried a few out. I made a list of which ones I thought didn't sound so "human", but in the end chose the name Piper because I'm a BIG fan of the TV show Charmed and I'm a big fan of the oldest sister. I feel she's always the one who tries to protect the others and I'm hoping she'll help me protect my little ones. So in the end I found a "human" name for my baby. :)

My boys have all been with me from puppydom, and I have named them all. I like to give my critters people names though. It all started when I got my first "on my own" boy. I gave him a people name so when I was outside at night on a "potty run" it would sound like I was talking to a person in case someone was sneaking around who shouldn't be. I lived in a baaaaaaad part of town at that point. Even all my male fosters who were with me after puppyhood had people names......Bob, Joe, Tom, Edward (not Eddie)......for the same reason.

I love old movies and actors and would have loved to have named by boxer boy after one but he was already named. But some ideas are Brando, Bogart, Spencer, Butler. I just love old Hollywood!

Very Sophisticated

I think you have a winner!!appicon I think it sounds very distinguished(sp?) as I feel most boxers are. I almost like it without the last name because it is somewhat humorous to end it with "Chops". I'm still trying to decide on our baby's name and she arrives tomorrow, but you don't have to register them right away so we still have time. Congrats on your new baby, enjoy!!;)
