Well , I have now got 2 very beautiful boxers and absolutely adore them ,, and if one of them was in the vets and i was worried i wouldnt be on the internet talking about it !!!!! my dog broke his leg cos he was knocked down and it worried the hell outta me ,, i couldnt think of going online to even discuss anything ,,, so if u really care about ur baby (as i consider mine babies) then spend ur time planning for when they come back home not by how hard done by u r!! ,, i couldnt consentrate on anything cos i thought i lost mine or wud do , so tell ur story when things settle down !! sorry but , i wud b too worried to even take the sympahty vote which wud get no-one anywhere!!

Good lord! My reason for posting was not to have anyone feel sorry for me, it was to let other new puppy owners now how easy it is for things like this to happen.

Kim,

I would also post here if something happened to Duke, and I have posted here when Cody had problems! I understand your reason for posting and I would do it too! Especially since you are warning others of the issue you encountered.

So how is she doing? Keep us posted and Duke and I are sending healing vibes your way!

Aw, I hope that your baby is feeling better soon! And don't feel bad ... I would be doing the same thing you are about posting here - that's what this site is for - we're all friends here! You've done all you can do for your baby now she just needs to get better!

So, keep us posted and give Daisy lots of loving and Boxer kisses & wiggles from us! :)

Wow,I just caught your post, and I hope Daisy is doing much, much better. We had to stop with rawhides and greenies, especially with Dozer, the four legged inhaling machine. Me and the kids are sending lots of boxer hugs and sloppy kisses to Daisy and stay strong vibes to you.
Be sure to keep us posted on how she's doing.

I just caught this post, too, and so hope that your little Daisy girl is doing much better and will be home with you very soon. What an absolutely scarey thing to happen! And thank you for posting and sharing your experience here, with people who adore their babies like you do, and definitely want to be here for anyone who thinks to come here to share. It helps both ways. Let us know how Daisy is, and you take care.

Thank-you for posting this warning is all I can say. If everyone kept everything that happened to their boxers to themselves, then none of us would learn would we. As a soon to be boxer mummy I am constantly checking this site for information and dangers ......... so thank-you

Get well soon daisy xxx

I had the same thing happen to Mya when she was 16 weeks. It is such a scary thing to have happen. She choked on a tiny piece of milkbone, so bigger than a fingernail. It got lodged in her windpipe and also cut her up pretty bad. She went through the same thing as Daisy. I hope she is feeling better soon. Mya had no lingering effects of it other than brief episode of bronchitis. One of the treats was actually inhaled and stuck in the lung and that made her prone to lung illness. But, at 10 months now she is doing fine. I do keep a very close watch on her with anything that she eats. I wish you and Daisy all the best and speedy recovery!
