My new granddaughter has a name at last!

It's been a fraught week, with her traumatic entrance into the world, and then some health issues.... (jaundice, low blood sugar, and after tests, it was discovered she seems to be deaf in one ear)...But today my little angel is out of hospital..There has been such a to do about naming her, as my son and DIL couldn't agree but finally they have decided on a name...

Isabella

I wasn't sure at first, then one of my friends at work, who happens to be an Italian said 'Ah Isabella, It's a beautiful name'..He speaks with that fantastic accent that could make any word sound romantic..and at that point I totally fell in love with the name..Plus, as I'm daydreaming, I've decided, that when she grows up, she of course will marry landed gentry, and 'Lady Isabella' sounds so posh!! ...Anyway, her full name is Isabella Mai..But nutty nanny calls her Tinkerbell!

She is booked to see a specialist in a months time, to investigate her hearing loss further, but we are all praying that it's just a temporary issue, to do with the trauma of her birth..Whatever happens, we have been truly blessed, and are over the moon with our little one....Hope you all approve of 'Lady Isabella's' name too
