Kristie,

Contact your local boxer rescue, and get your husband involved with them. That way he gets the "boxer" thing out without too much strain on you. Perhaps that would alleviate the sudden "I gotta do something" habit.

Ditto, Get DH invovled with rescue.
I'm volunteering with my local rescue and it's so rewarding. All I've done so far is Transport 3 babies, but knowing I'm a part of finding them a new home is amazing. I give my evaluation on how well they ride, wallk on the leash and take pictures that are used for the rescue web site.
If we could we would be at our city limit of dogs, 6, with out a doubt.

No baby yet, My husband did pay the adoption fee but these things move very slowly. I contacted the shelter today and they said no the dog had not gone to the Vet yet to get nuetered. It will be Wendsay or Thurday before he will be nuetered and we cant pick him up till the next day. So it may be Friday before we can even pick him up. I feel SOOOO bad he is stuck in a fairly small kennel with very little love or affection and I have a house full of boxers waiting for another friend to play with. Not to mention all the love he will get from me and my husband and his 3 skin kids.

We have 2 Boxers now and possibly working on a 3rd within the year but not quite sure because my two play so well together and I am a bit worried that if we bring home another that one of them might feel left out.

Congratulation's on your new addition and please keep us posted.
