Jeff,
I understand your frustration, I guess you should seek advice from other vets, and do it quick, especially if you don't trust these vets anymore, don't put your baby to sleep unless there is no other choice, that's why take Orson to another vet and see what they say. Try to take him to a cancer treatment center which they might know a little more.
You guys will be in my prayers!

Hugs;)

This is easy for me to say, Jeff, but hang in there. You're obviously doing everything you can for Orson. I was in a similar situation about 1 1/2 years ago and I know it is incredibly stressful.

Ozzie and I will be thinking of you over the holidays.

I am glad you got the results back, but I too would be put off if I felt that my Vet('s) didn't know HOW to treat my dogs illness. I guess I got lucky that the Vets I dealt with had a very good idea of how to treat Cookie (she has 1 more treatment and then goes in tomorrow for a final exam) successfully and had a good personal manner when dealing with emotional pet owners.

By all means do seek alternatives and don't give up hope!

Bless you for doing everything you can for Orson!

I'm sending you good vibes~~~~~~good vibes~~~~~good vibes~~~~~~~.

My little girl just passed from cancer 2 weeks ago. I remember the time of uncertainty when we didn't know what was going on. That was a year ago.

I'll be praying for you.

I know that waiting is agony. Last year we went through this waiting game with Delilah. Is there a vet school in a university close to you? The first thing my vet does when he wants more info is to refer us to LSU vet school. Can you get a referal from your vet to see a specialist at a near by vet school? They were great with us.
