Luke says thanks Ginger, Hammer and Kiki for the slobbers! He's sending some wiggles back. His burn isn't bad at all. I cleaned it well and put some neosporin on it. (it's not in a spot where he can lick it) It'll be interesting to see how he reacts now to cigarettes. I"m not an anti-smoking fanatic. heck, I smoke too! However, I never smoke in my car, house, restaurants etc. Most people don't even know I do smoke because I just don't do it around others. So never around Luke (or my son). My personal philosophy is that my son doesn't smoke (2nd hand) and now with Luke.. it's just extended.
Who knows what that lady coulda been thinking! But what bothers me most (aside from BURNING my dog!!!) is that she gave ME attitude! It's a good thing I didn't notice the burn sooner, I'd have gone ballistic.

Luke-We hope you feel better soon! Niko sends some slobbers and hugs for your boo-boo! I am a cig smoke freak!! My bf's parents smoke and it makes us all sick! Everytime my son is around them we ask them not to smoke so they smoke outside STILL around him, grrr. They give me attitude too when I ask them not to smoke ANYWHERE near him. I can't understand why some people don't respect that. I can't believe anyone would be so dumb and pet a dog with a cigarette in their hand, what a idiot!

I feel bad for Luke. The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me!

On another note, I'm laughing my butt off over these stories. Caesar hates smoke as well. My mom is the only one who smokes (outside when she comes to visit) but C will bark and sneeze and stare at her the whole time till she gives in and puts it out. Maybe he'll be the one to guilt her into quitting.

My mother's cat on the other hand LOVES smoke. She'll put her nose over the smoke when a butt is left in the ashtray. She'll be the first cat to die of lung cancer from actually smoking.
