My Daughter Cannot Hear Too Well!!

Yuck!!! You guys crack me up!!!!
A doctor I used to work for would be in the exam room checking the patient, I would be taking notes, when all of a sudden he would have the worst, loudest gas!! Phew!! Never an excuse me or anything, would just go on as if nothing happened! This happened alot and let me tell you I got some weird looks and comments from the patients when he left the room!

Momstaxi....i dont think the article you saw was about my Mia....as we never did any articles.
We do a lot of charity work for the hosp that did the operation as well as we stay involved with the cochlear team....but thats about it

Jessica Can Hear!!

We were at the hospital at 7am, and Jessica's surgery was at 8:45. By 10 she was back in the room. She was groggy and cranky with alot of pain. We were allowed to leave at 11 and she is sitting on the sofa watching Sesame Street...with the volume at a normal level!! She is not sick at all except for some pain in the ears.
I have to say that she made me very proud. I worried for nothing about how she would react when they took her to surgery. The doctor and nurses were great! The doctor told her that she was going to blow into a majic balloon (gas) and she was all geared up to inflate that balloon. She waved bye to me..blew me a kiss and off she went! I see now that what upsets us moms is when they are upset. My son was 4 when he had surgery and he screamed for me all the way into the OR!! I was so upset and cried until he was back in his room! Jessica made it so much easier on mommys nerves!
She told me the balloon was really stinky and they need to wash it.. :p ! I asked her what happened when she blew in the balloon and she looked really puzzled and says "I don't know mom..I don't think the doctor put my tubes in because I fell asleep"!!
