My cat is missing :(

She's home!!! I've been putting her food outside at night, but yesterday I decided to get something a little more smelly - so I got some tuna. I also put out a litter box (thanks to a suggestion I found when searching the Internet). I left the door cracked a little bit.
This morning when I went down the hall to feed my other cat, there was Emma! She was cold and hungry, but at least she's home.

So So happy for you that your kitty Emma came home. I am still wishing and hoping that our little kitty would come back. I am losing hope as it has been almost three weeks now. :( Sure happy that your story has a wonderful ending, at least one of us has our babies back.

I definitely understand what you are going through! The entire time she was gone, I was SO stressed out worrying about where she was, was she alright, was she cold, was she hungry, etc.... I'm sending some of my lucky vibes to you in hopes they work for you too!!

Thanks so much. I am not feeling very optimistic at this point. Nothing would make me any happier then to open that front door and see her sitting there waiting to come in. I actually feel like she will be on the doormat when I open the door. I have a box with one of those nice, soft and warm vellux blankets in it right by the front door just in case she does come home and I might not be here. I am worried as there is arctic air and very cold temps coming by end of week. I wake up in the middle of the night and early morning hours swearing that I hear her crying and I run to the door and no Mittens. This is really taking its toll on me as I feel so guilty allowing her to go out that night, it was Christmas Eve, actually Christmas morning (12:00 AM) and she didn't even get to open her Christmas gifts. I am trying really hard to keep the faith, but this kitty wasn't used to the elements at all and she was going on 14 years old, we have had her since she was a few weeks, we rescued her from the shelter. She was the most scrawny, sick kitten there and my daughter wouldn't pick a different one because she wanted to safe this ones life. After a little over a hundred dollars right away she was healthy and has always been. Thanks for the vibes and continue to send them.
