My Boxers a Brat! Help!

they are so funny, I love reading about everyones boxer antics

Mandi, the shower comment made me laugh, Roxy has started to do that, she tries to get into the shower with me but if it is bath time for her she tries like heck to get out!

After reading everyones comments it sounds like it really could just be a phase, I will be in heaven when she comes and sits in my lap on her own, as I said before she is my shadow and will sit by me but like someone else said, I get the butt end also.

My Maggie's the same and always just lays at the end of the bed except for an occasion or 2 she may get closer. Now that we have been getting thunder storms I get her practically in my lap and under my feet- storm goes away and so does she.
However, when I am working at the computer she will come over, and jump up to give me a hug. It's so cute!

Trooper Thorn has always beed a great cuddler. Bebop, not so much. Trooper Thorn likes to lay all over us, Bebop will curl up at the very foot of the bed, if at all. As a puppy, he didn't even like to be carried around. Very independant.

However, over the past 4 months (pretty much after he turned 2), Bebop has started laying beside me on the couch, using me as a bolster, & laying his head on my leg or ankle. It's so sweet! He still doesn't like to crawl in our laps, but that's probably just as well.

It's just different personalities and they continue to evolve over time, so just be patient.

It's funny until he starts howling! He wants in so very badly and isn't QUITE big enough to make it just yet. I almost dread the day he is tall enough to jump - I could end up with a nose in a very uncomfortable place . . .
I wouldn't, however, have Sam any other way!
I know you feel that way about Roxy too!

I didn't even think of the nose situation- LOL

my biggest concern has been all the water that gets on the tile floor from her antics and someone including Roxy slipping and falling from it. I wonder if she realized it's water if she would stop trying, she does not like a bath, how about your pup?

Baths MIGHT be ok

Well, after his June Bug explosion (both ends for three days) he had to have lots of bath after trooping through stool and barf in his crate. . .so he's MORE used to them. Still shivers like a sad baby and whines, but LEANS against me. I think he likes water better if it's HIS idea. I've tried putting more water in the tub to make it more fun for him and it seems to work ok. . .but I think he'd rather it was his idea.
