My boxer thinks he's human

Welcome, I agree with you entirely. I grew up having dog, shepards and Akitas, when I moved in with my boyfriend he grew up having boxers and wanted one. I never thought I could get so attached to one breed ! If we get a third it will definately be another boxer. If you can train and handle a boxer you will be great with skin kids! My dogs are my babies!

I have been around boxers for as long as I can remember and I have never known one who DIDN'T know he/she was human. It's part of their charm and appeal, and I believe a big part of why many people become so dedicated to boxers. Both of my "furry humans" consider themsleves family members, which they are.

Hi! welcome. we did the same thing, get married, get a fur baby. Now, I can't imagine life without him. And they are human! Even our friend who will come and take care of him on occasion when we are out of town says " I think he speaks english and thinks he is human" I tell her I know!
I am ready for another so look out! It doesn't take long to be addicted to them.

Hah! training - that's what we did too. Only we started smaller, as in a houseplant. When we first started living together, my boyrfriend and I got a plant and named it Sydney. I'm happy to report that 6 years later, the plant is still alive, our first dog is doing well and our newly adopted boxer is great. So now, kids are in the future. I figure if we could get through having two crazy puppies, there' s nothing we can't do.

hey i'm from huntsville and have a 4 month old boxer that weighs about 30 lbs. how much does your weigh, out of curiosity? i want him to be at least 70-75 when full grown. anybody have tips as to when to feed him and how much to make him huge?

Speedo you need to post your introduction in the introduction forum as well as reread the rules you agreed to when you joined the site. The introduction of yourself is a required first post of all BW members before using this site and this forum is only for introductions, not questions. Questions need to be asked in the appropriate forums for responses. Nothing you feed your dog will make him huge. He will be the size his genetics inherited from his parents dictate.
