My boxer swallowed what?!

I can relate to the cling-ons, Biff is partial to the odd length of wool.

When he was a pup, he passed a tiny bit lego, but apart from that he hasn't really eaten anything that unusual (Yet???????)

Luckily, the most that Stormie has ever swallowed is bits of fuzz from "de-stuffing" toys. However, one time we were watching her cousin boxer, Nina, and she went out to go potty and doing the crazy "I've got a cling-on" dance.

WARNING: The next part is kind of gross...

So I went over with a paper towel to relieve her of what I thought was a "cling-on". I ended up helping a 14-15 inch long and probably 4 inch wide piece of walmart bag come out of her bottom!!! I couldn't believe it as I kept on pulling and I had no idea when it would stop!!!! Poor Nina, that couldn't have felt good.

Wow...What a story! I think I would have had to get my husband to do that one!

Darlin's a chewer. Many pairs of sunglasses (her favorite), sandals, PS2 game controls, etc but FORTUNATELY, she doesn't USUALLY swallow.

However, about 2 months ago we found the remnance of one of those curly parts to a phone cord in her crate. We assumed that she'd just destroyed it but about a day later she was making her "Mom, help me!" cling-on face and I was definately shocked to see that long curly black cord. So gross!

Ended up having to get her Xrayed, of course!
I just don't know how that could have tasted that good!

yup a Barbie head here also with Rocky... and also my socks, DH says he loves my smell, but c'mon, my socks are the only one's he eats:o... I wear the super short and thin 'no-show' socks and I try my hardest to pick them up, but of course this spoiled boy gets into hampers and finds any I might've dropped when doing laundry, I've recovered 2 now that comes back up the way then went in and matching the color of his food...

nipples

I posted about this a few weeks ago but we recently had to take Buford in for endoscopic surgery to remove THIRTEEN baby bottle nipples. He pulled the dirty bottles bin down from the counter and ate every single nipple while we were out one day. Needless to say, the vets office had a field day making fun of our boxer with the "nipple fetish"!! LOL!

Edgar just likes shoe soles. Berkies are really a treat, all of that cork He also ate the cork off of my sandals.

ABBY once ate my social security card and two twenty dollar bills. It was in my wallet, which she just coudn't resist from chewing on. She also chewed up my drivers license and a couple of credit cards. Believe me, I wasn't a very happy camper after she pulled that little stunt.

Maggie's boxer buddy Mickey tried to eat her mom's cell phone this weekend. The phone rang and she told her skin daughter, Vicky, to get the phone. Vicky reported to mom that the phone kept moving. (At this point in the story I was ready to hear that Mickey had swallowed the phone) Nope, Mickey was carrying it around in her mouth, chewing occasionally. I guess she was expecting a call - maybe from Maggie. Luckily they got the phone away from her before she had a chance to chew further or worse yet the big swallow. Sonya, Mickey's mom, was upset about the $50 to replace the phone. I interjected that she would have been more upset at the $500 charge for getting it out of Mickey had she swallowed it. I guess there are bright sides!
