It is so awful to not have them there to snuglle with, to follow you around, to have their scents. I remember that so well from losing Peanut in Feb. It, like Julie P said, WAS like a knife being driven in my heart too. It physically hurt. And when we got her ashes in a velvet bag that has embroidered "until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge", and the little footprint in clay, at the vets office, I lost it. I still hold them against my heart (some we spread but half we kept), as well as her collar (they are all by our bed) and talk to her all the time. The only thing I can say is that the pain eases. Time will take away the physical pain little by little. You will never forget your baby, and you will never stop missing or loving Vexxor, but laughter and smiles at the thought of your baby will slowly begin to replace that pain and sadness and tears. It just stinks that we have to feel that and go through it, but thats all a part of the process. We are all here for you, and know what it is you are going through. I will conmtinue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and will tell Peanut as I fall asleep tonight that I hear she has a new friend named the super VEXXOR! I am sure they are kissing and boxing and loving with all the capacity that those dear creatures can!
