My Best Friend Jake

Well where do I start. Jake was really doing well with the Chemo treatments, he was going for his third treatment on May 31. Monday Jake was not himself he just wanted to lay around where it was cool and away from everybody except his mommy. We thought this could be from the treatment so we didn't think to much of the way he was acting. Tuesday morning we took him to the vet just to have him look at Jake and to get his thoughts on how Jake was feeling. The Vet kept Jake for observation. Vet called me about 9:30 Tuesday morning told me Jakes kidneys where starting to shout down and wanted to try some meds. that should jump start what was shouting down. Wednesday we went in for a talk with the Vet on how Jake was doing not good. Vet wanted to keep Jake on meds over night to see if he would start to respond to the meds.Thursday morning I got a call from the Vet Jake did not respond to the meds.the cancer went from the liver to the kidneys and this caused the kidneys to shut down. MY BEST FRIEND JAKE PASSED AWAY. May 31,2007 at 7:AM. You only know how much we love and I mean really love or pets when they are sick and when the pass away. We are going to miss Jake so much it is just so hard to explain. We want to thank you all for all your support and prayers. We will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
