My mind is racing right now so sorry if this doesn't make complete sense. Titus is in the emergency hospital right now. We just took him there a few hours ago. A piece of his toy got lodged in his stomach and starting last night, he's been having diarrhea and vomiting. We took him to the ER and they did an x-ray discovering that he has something lodged in it and needed surgery right away. So, he'll be having surgery in the wee hours of this morning. This has come as a shock. Well, not a complete shock because Titus tries to eat all his toys, but it hasn't seemed to effect him before. I have no idea what could be lodged in this stomach but the vet said he would keep everything and let us see. This is the first time Titus has been away from us and I'm trying hard not to cry, especially in front of Lexi. She looks so lost without him. They're like peas and carrots. Any healing vibes and prayers are very welcome. Thank you.

Thank You

Thank you so much for all your thoughts, prayers and healing vibes. We got a call from the vet around 1:30am saying that Titus was out of surgery and doing well. I called again this morning and they reported he had not had any more episodes of diarrhea or vomiting since the surgery, which is a good thing. They said they were going to try him with some food around 2pm today and if he keeps it down allright, then he can come home around 7pm this evening. The vet said he had already performed the same surgery on 2 other boxers, within the last 24 hours. He laughed and said Titus would be back in the room, with the other boxers and they could share their woes together. The piece of the toy that was in his stomach must have been in there for awhile because he said he had to literally pry it from his stomach wall. However, there was nothing in his intestines and no perforations, which was great news. So, tomorrow, I'll put extra padding in his crate and let him lay in there. Lexi and I will spend the day up in the bedroom with him and keep him company. I don't want to let him out too much from his crate because if he's on pain killers and doesn't feel the pain, he'll want to play with Lexi and she'll try to continuously lick his wounds. Allright, I realize I'm rambling. Thanks again for everything. We really appreciate it.
