I was on Boxer World tonight looking for an old poem. Was so glad to see your post, knowing all the problems you have been having posting. You and Rocky have come so far. Do not think even one day ahead - just one day at a time. You know in your heart how he is doing and you have made all the right decisions. I know a piece of my heart has been with you and Rocky since we all started these posts and I lost Heidi in Jan. Here we are in April, almost May. Just keep him close, I know you are doing this already. We are here for you.

Oh gosh Vicky-I feel for ya.....I wish there was something I could write to make you feel better.....we all know when we adopt these babies that our hearts will be broken someday.....but the love they give us in between more than makes up for it. Rocky knows you love him and that you would make eveything better if you could......not a day goes by that I don't think about Kiddo and experience a multitude of emotions all at once-love,guilt,anger,sadness...its all part of the cruel process I'm afraid. Hang in there-cry on our shoulders anytime. Hugs to you and Rocky
Try offering him water with a syringe. The vet can probably give you a big one. That is what I used with KOKO when she could no longer drink out of a bowl on her own.

Hey Girls,
First time I have been able to take the time to get on. Rocky and I had a rough night. He was up and down all night and panting. I got home tonight he had throwed up. He looks tired and I feel tired. He ate good tonight and acts ok but seems to be panting alot. He is such a trooper...really hanging in and fighting the old cancer monster. He is so strong . I may wear out before him. Here he comes ready to hop in bed. It's the only time he is whinny. He cries for me to put him up on the bed. He knows how much he is loved...keep us in your prayers...we love you Rocky and Mom

I just wanted to say what has been said a hundred times before. I am so so sorry for what your going through. Rocky is such a lucky boy to have a mum who loves him as much as you do.
My 3 1/2 yr old boy has just been diagnosed with severe aortic Stenosis and we were told he should be passed by now and could suddenly drop deadat any time .
I know how you are feeling, I cried for days and days. But now I look at every single positive little thing... its all we can do. Hell Im even happy if he farts LOL.
We are blessed to be drawn to Boxers and to experience the total unconditional love a Boxer gives us, a love like no other.
My heart breaks for you. Our thoughts are always with you and Rocky.
