hey gal-glad to see can still get on once in a while...wish I could tell ya how to fix whatever is wrong...have you run a virus and spyware cleaner? Might want to try that too...maybe defrag your hard drive.....give yourself and Rocky big hugs from us! We know you're here in spirit.

Sending hugs yours and Rocky's way. I know how hard this is. Probably harder on you than Rocky as he is dealing with it day to day and not concerned with the future. If you have a video camera make lots of videos and if you don't, see if you can get one or borrow one.

Glad to see your post! We miss you here! A defrag and virus scan is a good idea. It does really sound like a memory issue. Especially because you can get on occasionally. You are in our thoughts, keep us posted.

line noise

if you use a dial up service check and see if there is any noise on the telephone line.Static will slow things down quickly with a dial up connection. Hope you guys are still well!

Hey Vicky!

It is great to hear from you... We think about you guys all the time and are wishing the best for you and Rocky.

I agree with what some of the others have said about the computer. Sounds like you might need to do some "cleaning up" on it. I am assuming you are using Windows, so if you go to the Start button, go to Programs, go to Accessories, go to System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup.... click on the Disk cleanup. It may ask you to select the drive you wish to clean, make sure it is on the C drive. It will bring up a list of folders and stuff... click on yes, or ok (I forget what it says), it will ask are you sure, and click on yes. It may take a while to run, depending on how much stuff you have on there, but it may help. It doesn't delete any "real" files, like documents or anything, just empties the internet cache, cookies, and temporary files (shadows of files).. It just cleans up the junk. Kinda like sweeping up dust!

Anyway, me and Dexter hope all is well for the Rock-man!! I really miss hearing from you guys, and you are always in our thoughts!

Thanks girls for all the advise I have tried it all and nothing seems to work. I posted one night last week but it never showed up. I have tried 2 other computers and they do the same thing. I can get on any part of Boxerworld except forum. Maybe it's the area I am in.

Anyways does anyone have any suggestions on how to get Rocky to drink water? He is eating canned dog food now. he refuses to eat dry dog food and of course he stays in all the time and sleep most of that. He use to drink tons of water but in the past month you can barely see any water is missing. my mom said he can't survive without water...help! He's still eating good but no water. Is this a sign of something...please any suggestions will be appreciated.....Rocky & Mom

try pedialyte or at this point even a popsicle. Is his intake equalling his output? One good thing about canned food is it does have a high water content.

Vicky,

When Heidi couldn't stand up and get to her water dish my son and I would give her water in a syringe. She wouldn't even have to lift up her head, we would just squirt it into her mouth and she would lap it up. If you don't have one around, your vet can give you one of the small plastic syringes. Good luck and keep us posted. Thinking of you and Rocky.

Hey Vicky,

Dexter got really sick several months back, he had some kind of intestinal problem, and refused to drink. He ate ok, but wouldn't drink. So I put a little water in with his dog food. When I would feed him, I'd put a cup or so of water in with his food. He had to lap up the water to get to the food, so it kinda worked....

Also another thing I did, and this seems goofy but it worked.... he loves to lick water off of ME (everytime I step out of the shower, he shows up and licks my knees dry ;)). So I would sit in the floor with his water bowl, put my hands and arms in it and let him lick the water off. At least I knew he was getting SOME water, and that made me feel better. I'd do anything for my baby, and I know you will too.

You may give some of those ideas a try!

We love ya!!!! BIG HUGS to you and Rocky! Hang in there!
