My 1st Baby

My baby (5) Chloe went over the bridge in June. I just haven't had the heart to post or discuss it. She was my 1st boxer and I loved and still love her with all my heart. She was gorgeous, funny and sweet until the cancer took over. I still talk to her most days. I miss her and my heart is broken. The only thing that helps is I have another boxer puppy (Gracie) who was able to spend her first 6 months with my Chloe. So sometimes Gracie acts so silly and makes smile. I am crying writing this. I have had dogs my whole life however this was my 1st Boxer and my 1st female dog. I was blessed to have her in my life if only for a short while.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Chloe was taken from you far too soon. I lost my first Boxer baby last summer and I still break down every now and again when I think about him. It's not easy. I'm still waiting for the day when those beautiful memories bring smiles instead of tears. I am so sorry for your loss. 5 years is way too short. I lost my first baby 20 mo's ago. I still miss her, tho' I rarely shed a tear now. My husband even mentioned how much he misses her just the other day. It does get easier. I'm glad you have Gracie to help you thru this tough time.

It is so terribly wrong that so many of us understand your intense pain.
My girl has been gone for 5 1/2 months. I cry daily. Some days I can control the tears and shed them quietly and while alone. Other days I am a total wreak and anything will send me into a complete meltdown.
I am so very sorry your heart has been broken. I wish you peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in making new memories with Gracie. I don't know how I would have pulled through after losing my last pup if Roxy hadn't come into my life and lifted my spirits with her silly gestures. My prayers go out to you and your family.
