We just got word the other day my Lizzy has cancer throughout her body and probably dont have long to live...I cant believe this is happening. We love her so much and cant imagine our home without her..We got her when we first moved into our new home in 2000 and now she will be gone soon
It is so sad,but the weird thing about all of this is she is still so happy to be with all of us
thank you

So sorry to hear about your Lizzie. Of course she is happy to be with you-you are her world! Dogs do not fear death like we do so they continue to enjoy what they always enjoyed as much as they can right up to the end-and she can enjoy your love just as much now as ever. And what a wonderful age for your girl-you obviously took very good care of her. Try to enjoy this time, keep her comfortable, and shower her with love-you are making memories. God bless you and your sweet girl

So sad to read about your girl. . . we went through the same with our 14 yr old lab a couple of years ago, it is heartbreaking. It doesn't seem right that dogs get so short a life, does it? But they enjoy every minute that they do get, right to the end, and teach us so much about living life to the fullest. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your Lizzy!
