Boxer Booster
Unfortunately, when I got Roxy I couldn't take time off from work so she had to get used to it all at once, poor girl! She did cry maybe for the first 4 or 5 days, might have been a little longer but not much. And it was heartbreaking, such sad little crying. But after no more than a week the neighbors were reporting that they heard not a peep from her (although someone tried to blame her for the neurotic Shih-Tsu upstairs barking all the time!)She still doesn't *love* her crate but she'll go in willingly enough(especially for a kong full of peanut butter!) and she doesn't cry anymore. I think if you just give your baby time and keep doing what you're doing since you have the time he'll get used to it. I don't have any solutions for the escaping though. Good luck with that!
