Gotta chime in here! I have a Dodge Durango SLT Plus. I love it! I donated my old car 1984 Volvo to a cat rescue two years ago and bought a used (Carmax) 2000. I have never had any real problems. There is so much room and it can handle any terrain. I worry about driving in the snow etc. Never actually had to put it in 4 wheel drive yet, it's a monster. Yes I get about 17mpg on the highway. But I feel so safe and secure in it. Allot of SUV's I test drove, I felt I was going to tip over around turns, even going slow. The Durango has such a large stance that you have all 4 wheels solidly on the ground. Yes it is a Chrysler product but have never had any problems with my service guys, they actually offered me a job as a mechanic with training and everything! OK so I am a Durango freak, I love it! Enjoy whatever you get!:D

I too have a Honda CRV--a 1997!! I absolutely love it--and I am not a car person-by that I mean I usually could care less about what I drive, but I have fallen in love with this SUV--I never want to drive anything else. My husband (a car enthusiast) wants me to look at other SUV's but I just do not want to part with it--plus it only has 52,000 miles on it over almost six years! Yes, I'm very lucky to work close to home! It rides so smooth and it is great in snow, rain -everything--Hubby even tried to entice me with the idea of a Mercedes SUV(told you he was a car snob!) but I just don't see the point when I have such a great reliable(paid off!) car already!

I own a jeep wrangler. Had it before Boxers. I love my wrangler in the summer, or off road, but other then that it is worthless. We also looked at all the SUV's when we decided it was time to get a new car. We ended up getting the Subaru Forester, not a SUV at all. It handles great, gets good gas mileage, has plenty of room for the girls and more. We take it camping, throw the canoe on top. The only thing I don't like about it is you don't sit up as high as you do in a SUV. Maybe it's because i'm short, I like to sit up high.

I just switched from a car to an SUV and let me tell you I love it!!!!! My car was just way too small for Trinity! I have a GMC Yukon Denali XL and I LOVE it. I feel so much safer driving this tank than any car out there! Good luck.

Well the wait is over!!!!!

I have finally gotten my SUV!!!! I got a 2003 Jeep Liberty V6 4x4!!!:D
I LOVE IT!!! It is Timberline green with grey interior!!!
It is so differnt to be sitting up so high since I use to drive a mitsubishi eclipse, but I just love it. It is so much fun. Sporty enough on the outside but fancy on the inside.

I have a 98 Toyota Rav 4 and Dave has a Toyota Highlander...although we are looking at 4Runners too - love their new design! So it would appear we are definitely a Toyota family (my last 2 cars were both Tercels too).

But I have to admit I've looked more than twice at the Liberty...that 0% financing certainly helps make it look even more attractive! But I'll probably hang onto my little Rav till it's paid off in a year...who needs power...sigh.
