My Ingram was diagnosed last week with a melanoma tumor behind his left eye. Today is the first time he seems to really be in pain. May have to take him in tomorrow. I cant stop crying. Can I give him a small dose of hydrocodone I had after a leg injury?

I'm so sorry about your baby. I'd be very careful what I gave him for pain, some things are toxic to dogs. I know you can give baby aspirin, but I don't know what the dosage would be for Ingram. I'd check with your vet. Good luck.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ingram and that he's in pain now. I would be cautious too and check with your vet before giving him that medicine. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Keeping your Ingram in my thoughts - I'm so sorry about his diagnosis. Perhaps you can ask your vet for pain medication for him when you take him in.
