Maybe a dog walker

So I'm having a really tough time with this growing up and choosing a new line of work stuff. I really enjoy working at the garden center, but let's face it, they pay almost nothing and it's only around 24 hours a week. Not really holding up my end of the bill/bargain around here. I need another job as well, something to supplement this plant gig......

I've been self-employed for most of my adult life. In home daycare for while my boys were young, and then the faux finishing biz forever. I like working for myself. So, mulling over and looking into a few other options. Realtor, dog training and possibly dog walking.

I know the money would probably be best selling homes, but there could be a lot of fun to be had working with the dogs!

So....what do you do? What do you think? Feel free to be opinionated here!

When I lived in NYC I could not get a decent job (as I moved from Europe) so I did dog walking for a while. It must have been the nicest thing I had ever done in my life. I did something I love doing most. I walked only one dog at a time. I had many dogs to walk during the day. The money was really good for doing something so enjoyable like walking dogs.
I have a friend who has a dog hotel and she takes 5 dogs a day (40US$ a day). She is now thinking of expanding her dog hotel as she is absolute 100% fully booked.

I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up and I'm almost 25. For now I'm an insurance agent. I'm waiting for my sugar daddy to come along so I can be a trophy wife and sit at home Hey, a girl can always dream, right? I'm actually a workaholic. I LOVE to work but I don't think I've found "the job" for me yet.

Do you have the space to kennel? Vacation time is here so people will be looking in to kennels for their pets, or some one to come to their home to feed and care for them.

When I was looking for kennels for Biff for the holidays, I told DH if ever I will the lotto, I'd buy a HUGE piece of land and open my own kennels! I could give up my day job and be with dogs ALL DAY! How cool :cool: would that be????

I do not have the space to kennel, though that would be wonderful. I have to put some serious time and thought into doing this well so that it is coordinated properly. Very exciting.

My eldest son is going to come home on leave with his girlfriend from the 13-23rd. So....I'm using this time to NOT make an impulsive decision. But I'm leaning towards the dog-walking more than anything else.
